Start YOUR FIBER HERD today

---

Owner of this small starter herd prefers to keep the herd together if at all possible. Lovable, huggable, 2026 kid fiber producers of various colors and multiple placements on the  spectrum of Pygora fiber types. Left to right, meet Rosebud, Balsam, Yoda, Jett (in the rear) and Ranger.

Rosebud's fiber has luster and is near the A end of the fiber type spectrum. She had super quality 3-4" staple length fiber that sold raw the day after it was sheared at just 5 months of age.

Balsam is a small, sweet Grey Agouti wether whose fiber is certain to be typical Pygora Type B with just a hint of grey.

Yoda's uniquely colored caramel fiber has tight crimp and provides full coverage from head to toe. This wether has facial fiber like his F2 sire LeoLeoLeo (24-52M). His dam Molly Brown (19-89F) is a big dark brown doe.

Jett is a beauty with her black face and out-of-fleece color combined wih auburn brown in-fleece color. Her fiber was slow to come in and had the straight, sleek chracteristics of Type C fiber but eventually came in as possibly a Type B fiber with C characteristics. Often, goats with Type B fiber that has Type C characteristics  can easily be plucked to leave most of the guard hair on the goat.

Ranger is a gentle wether who is medium brown out-of-fleece and a light brown/caramel in-fleece. His fiber should blend nicely with Yoda's to make a beautiful natural color yarn.
