Pygora goat kids are available to those who join our Wait List and wish to expand or start their own herd, show their Pygoras, or harvest fiber. All our Pygora goats are pre-registered or permanently registered with the Pygora Breeders Association before leaving our farm. We offer a variety of Pygora goats and products for sale.
Fee-based delivery options are available.
Raw, unwashed, hand dehaired Pygora fiber is available. Our roving and yarns are commercially dehaired and washed. We currently offer yarns made from our luxurious Pygora fleece blended with Bluefaced Leicester, merino, silk, angora rabbit, or yak. Our Pygora roving is blended with Bluefaced Leicester wool. We offer raw fleece straight from the goat and ready for dehairing.
We are all Grand Champions, but The Oaks Michigan is a PERMANENT GRAND CHAMPION! Congratulations to our first wether, 13-year-old super intelligent and super sweet Michigan and his handler Taylor Lawrence. There is mutual adoration between this goat and his handler, who also feeds him 4 times a week. Michigan loves food.
In the interest of healthy and happy herds we freely share information regarding goat care, including medicines, tips, techniques, and tools we have found to be effective. Pygora goats are livestock and not just "pets." They require regular health maintenance, hoof trimming, and shearing.
We welcome farm visits. Each goat has its own unique personality which can be very enjoyable to experience. We welcome visits by appointment from those who wish to purchase animals or fiber and from those wishing to see our beautiful goats and hug our adorable kids.
